Film Storyboard
Storyboard
This documentation is evidence of my storyboard of my film opening which is a collection of illustrations demonstrating the different shots that I have planned for my film. A storyboard also includes a short description of each shot, a description of the audio. the edit and the camera movement. It is used by film producers as a way to organise and plan their thoughts and ideas for the film, It also serves as a physical copy of those ideas that can be shown to other people helping to produce the film, so they know what the final product should look like and how they are going to create it. I have completed this on paper because it is only a rough idea of what types of shots I want and this may change whilst filming. By completing this on paper and in pencil means that within the pre production process I can change the shot types easily if I change my mind. This is impactful towards the final production because everything is planned out in an organised way so that when I reach filming there will be no mistakes as I know exactly what I need to do and how or where to set up a camera, this makes the whole filming process much easier and less chaotic because if I didn't know what to do I would end up wasting time and possibly get not very good quality footage. Moreover, I could fall behind on my shooting schedule which could lead to the delay of my final product. This is not quite industry standard because my illustrations are not to the detailed standard of film makers and producers but it is as rough as theirs would be as it is only a rough plan for filming.
