My House Filming Permission

This documentation is evidence of a location release form. This evidence proves that I am legally allowed to film in my chosen location - a house. Evidence that a film producer is allowed to film in a location is needed because it is illegal to film without it and film makers can get arrested or have to face consequences if they get caught filming in a location without permission. Despite it being illegal to film without permission, some film makers do it anyway in hopes of not getting caught and sometimes it turns out successful for the film producer. However, the risk is quite high does not always pay off for some film makers. It is risk-free and better to gain a location permit or permission to film in a location. I chose to gain permission through a location release form because a house is private property and therefore an official form with the property owners signature is more secure than just an email (which can be hacked) or other forms of permission. A location that is public property doesn't necessarily need at location release form because it is not privately owned and so you can legally film with another type of permission permit or documentation. This documentation impacts my final production because it legally secures a location for me to film in. I now know that I can successfully film in the house. I also now have a larger idea on how my film is going to look and can imagine the mise-en-scene and look of the scenes filmed in a house. This piece of documentation is very professional and industry standard and compares to professional models of practice. This is due to its professional language, the contract being fully detailed and easy to understand (so that the property owner is fully aware of what they are agreeing to) and including an address, signature and date which reinforces the permissions legality.  


LOCATION RELEASE FORM 
I, the undersigned hereby grant permission to MILLIE OATES the right to enter and remain upon the property of JOANNE OATES at WOODLAND DRIVE, which shall include not only real property at any fixtures, equipment or other personal property thereat or thereon, located at this address, with personnel and equipment (including without limitations, props, temporary sets, lighting, camera and special effects equipment) for the purpose of photographing scenes and making recordings of said property in connection with the production of a digital media text on the following date(s): 20th March 2021/ 21st March 2021.  
This permission includes the right to take motion pictures, videotapes, still photographs and/or sound recordings on and of any and all portions of the property and all names associated there with or which appear in, on or about the property.  
This permission also grants all rights of every nature whatsoever in and to all films and photographs taken and recordings made hereunder, including without limitation of all copyrights therein and renewals and extensions thereof, and the exclusive right to reproduce, exhibit, distribute, and otherwise exploit in perpetuity throughout the universe (in whole or in part) such films, photographs and recordings in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation in and in connection with the documentary video and the advertising and other exploitation thereof.   
I certify that I have the full right and authority to enter into this agreement and grant the rights herein granted, and that the consent or permission of no other person, film or entity is necessary in order to enable you to exercise or enjoy the rights herein granted.

Production Log

Production Log This document shows evidence that I have completed a production log. This log is similar to a diary in by how I write in at different stages of my coursework.  I have completed a production log because it is a easy and simple way to keep track on my progress so far.  It is especially useful to monitor my progress. This is because I can read my production log at any stage in my coursework and make sure that I am staying productive with my time and not falling behind schedule.
